Chef Romain

Passionate about cooking since childhood, it was only natural for me to turn it into a profession. After exploring different styles of cuisine, from haute gastronomy to traditional brasserie and casual dining, I decided to open my own restaurant to freely express my vision.

A true nature enthusiast, I often draw inspiration from foraging and seasonal produce.

My cooking? Flavorful, authentic, with a touch of originality, and always 100% homemade. The rest is up to you to discover!

    This is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. It recently changed ownership but the new owners and chefs have kept the standards to a Michelin star level of quality. By far the best restaurant in Nendaz and potentially the canton.

    We visited for my wife’s birthday. The food and wine were excellent. Very impressed with the new team and chef. We visited previously and enjoyed as well, but I think the food has been taken up a level. Recommend a visit !

    Soirée en couple au « Vieux Chalet » avec le nouveau Chef et Gérant, Romain Depierre. Différent mais tout autant surprenant : très accueillant, que ce soit au téléphone, en cuisine ou à table. Chaque plat est une découverte, autant pour les yeux que pour le palais. Vaut vraiment le détour ! Ne quittez pas Haute-Nendaz sans l’avoir essayé. Essayer, c’est l’adopter !
